Over 6 months of engineering went into this product; no corners cut, no stones left unturned. This 76mm throttle body and port-matched adapter plate kit is a MUST-HAVE for your 3.3T. !!!!!!Product FAQ!!!!!! We get asked, so we answered! 1. Q. The kit has no hook up for OEM coolant lines, will that be a problem? A. Engine coolant runs around 220F-240F, this heat is power robbing, we purposefully remove these lines so heat does not get dumped into your charge air through a scalding hot throttle body. We supply custom silicone 10mm caps to efficiently delete the coolant lines that would otherwise be putting heat INTO your charge air. If you live in cold climates, don't fret, just let your engine warm up for another minute or two during cold start, this is commonly done on modded vehicles to keep charge air as dense as possible. 2. Q. What power gains will I see? A. We worked closely with professional tuners (Florez Tuning of Arizona) to ensure our data was repeatable and true. We tested our product on a STOCK tune vehicle for true baseline results. Our full kit is compatible with virtually all tunes and mods, and you'll see more power with a modded vehicle. 3. Q. Will this kit work with my charge pipes? A. We offer multiple configurations for charge pipe size and geometry, chances are we can accommodate you. If not sure, just shoot us an email at support@velossatech.com. The stock throttle body is 68mm 🙁 — even worse, the throttle blade and shaft act as a flow path restriction (especially at WOT where airspeed is highest, and easily disrupted). Bumping up the diameter of the throttle body to 76mm and port-matching it netted 10 WHP gains at the wheels on a STOCK TUNE vehicle ! If you are modded, you'll likely pick up more, and the throttle response is NUTS! Trust us!
